When it’s time to part ways with your sparkly companion, grab some rubbing alcohol, baby wipes, lotion, or baby oil to gently convince the glue to let go. Remember, no scratching or rubbing—your skin will thank you!

Sparkle Tattoo Inc. Body Glue & Cosmetic Glitter (For Body Tattoos)

Our temporary body glitter tattoos are built to endure the elements while remaining incredibly gentle on your skin.

  • Hypoallergenic & Non-Toxic: Our professional-grade body adhesive is dermatologically tested, latex-free, and non-toxic. It is perfectly formulated for sensitive skin.
  • Premium Cosmetic-Grade Glitter: We strictly avoid craft glitters made of sharp metals or heavy plasticizers. Our glitter is crafted from rounded polyester plastic, meaning it sits softly on the skin without creating scratches or micro-tears.
  • Easy Removal: While our body tattoos are completely waterproof and can last up to 7 days, they can be safely dissolved at any time using a cotton pad soaked in baby oil, rubbing alcohol, or an oil-based lotion.

 

How do I care for my glitter tattoos?

Our glitter tattoos are durable and built for active fun, but a little extra care will keep them shining bright for up to 7 days! Follow these simple steps to protect your new art:

The Waterproof Difference: Body vs. Face

  • Body Tattoos are 100% Waterproof: Your glitter body tattoo will hold up beautifully in the backyard pool, local spray park, or bath. It is completely smudge-proof and water-resistant!
  • Face Art is NOT Waterproof: Our face art is applied using cosmetic grade facepaints. It is not waterproof and will wash away cleanly with standard warm soap and water. Keep face art dry during swimming or heavy splashing!

Caring for Body Tattoos

  • Pat, Don’t Scrub: Wash around the body tattoo normally with gentle soap. When washing the skin directly, gently pat it with water instead of rubbing it with a washcloth, sponge, or loofah.
  • Towel Dry Gently: When stepping out of the bath or shower, gently pat the body tattoo dry with a soft towel. Do not rub the towel back and forth over the glitter.
  • Avoid Excess Oils: Keep oil-based body washes, heavy lotions, sunscreen, and bug spray away from the body tattoo, as oils naturally break down the skin-safe adhesive.
  • Hot Water Note: Prolonged soaking in very hot hot tubs or steaming baths will soften the body glue quicker, causing the edges to lift sooner than normal.

Quick & Easy Removal for Body Tattoos

If you need to remove a body tattoo before it naturally fades, do not scrub the skin raw! You can easily dissolve the adhesive in seconds using items you already have at home:

  1. Soak a cotton pad or paper towel in baby oil, rubbing alcohol, or an oil-based makeup remover.
  2. Hold the soaked pad over the tattoo for 30 to 60 seconds to let the oil break down the glue.
  3. Gently wipe the glitter away and rinse the skin with warm soap and water.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

 

  • Upfront Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your event date.
  • Non-Refundable: This upfront payment covers event preparation and reserves your time slot; it is strictly non-refundable.
  • Cancellations: If you cancel the event, your payment will not be returned.
  • Rescheduling: The business may, at its sole discretion, allow you to transfer the payment to a future date.
  • Guest Limits & Additional Artists: Every package has a strict capacity limit (15 kids max for 1 hour, 25 max for 2 hours, 50 max for 4 hours) to ensure every guest receives a premium, unhurried application. If your event's anticipated guest count exceeds these limits, a second artist must be added to your invoice at an additional rate of $20.00/hour.

 

Outdoor Weather Policy

 

  • Shelter Requirements: You must provide a safe, completely sheltered, and dry work area. Acceptable options include an indoor room, garage, covered patio, or heavy-duty commercial pop-up tent with sidewalls.
  • Product Needs: Cosmetic glitters, stencils, and skin adhesives require a dry, moisture-free environment for proper application and hygiene.
  • Inclement Weather: The artist reserves the right to pause or stop operations if outdoor conditions become unsafe or unworkable. This includes heavy rain, lightning, hail, hail warnings, or sustained winds over 30 km/h.
  • Weather Cancellations: If severe weather forces a cancellation before the event starts, your upfront payment will be held as a credit.
  • Credit Expiration: You can apply this credit to reschedule an alternate date or indoor venue within 12 months, subject to artist availability.
  • No Refunds: Refunds will not be issued for weather disruptions that happen after your event has already started.

 

Travel & Parking Fees

Travel & Mileage Policy

  • Local Service Radius: Travel within a 25 km radius of our home base in Cranston, SE Calgary is fully included in all base package pricing.
  • Extended Travel Fee: Venues located outside of our standard 25 km service radius will incur a round-trip mileage fee of $0.75 per kilometer, calculated transparently from address to address using Google Maps.
  • Parking Accommodations: The client is responsible for providing or reimbursing the artist for any necessary paid parking fees (such as downtown meters, public lots, or event parking passes) required during the service time block.

Product Safety & Liability Waiver

 

  • High-Quality Materials: All products are premium, cosmetic-grade, non-toxic, and hypoallergenic materials sourced directly from Sparkle Tattoo Inc & Hokey Pokey Inc.
  • Skin-Safe Glue: Our body glue is a dermatologically safe, latex-free cosmetic adhesive designed specifically for use on skin.
  • Application Restrictions: Temporary tattoos are recommended for ages 3 and up. While our standard waterproof body adhesives are never applied to the face, our face art services utilize ultra-gentle, water-based cosmetic face paints that are 100% skin and eyelid-safe.
  • Sensitivity Testing: If a client or parent has concerns regarding sensitive skin, a small patch test can be performed on the wrist 30 minutes prior to full application.
